About along the way
Along the Way - the blog is all about the incredible, inspiring and impassioned humans I meet as a photographer along the way.
Photography is an intimate experience. When you are taking someones portrait you get chatting. Sometimes you chat for over five hours! In this time you get to know the person very well. It’s a pleasure to get the opportunity to speak with the people I shoot for so long and it’s even better to be able to create a lasting memory that lives in the world even long past our existence.
Here you will find portraits and stories as well as a podcast of our conversations.
Adam Goodes and his mother Lisa Sansbury open up to me about leading a spiritual life, the repercussions of being a part of the stolen generation and life after footy.
Morganne is a rare human making the transition from who the world sees as a female to how he sees himself as male.
Andy’s motto is ‘No shoes, no worries’.
To me Dan is the real spiritual gangster. He has the insight of an enlightened human ready to lift up those he can through his past experience, through his saviour (fitness) and his learned self awareness. Yet he has that South East London accent, tattoos and ripped physique so you feel you really don’t want to mess with him.
